Scholarships in Pakistan for Poor Families (2021)
This program offers scholarships for students from matriculation to graduation level.
Merit-based scholarships are available for bright, deserving, and financially challenged students across Pakistan. These scholarships aim to empower them to pursue their educational dreams and break the cycle of poverty.
The goal is to support 67,500 students annually by 2025.
Additionally, stipends are offered for vocational training, focusing on fields that provide high-impact and employable skills. This program is set to benefit 12,500 individuals each year by 2025.
The Future Leaders Initiative (Rahnuma) focuses on guiding 1,000 university students through scholarships, mentorship, and career counselling to help them succeed in their academic and professional journeys.

- Only students applying for graduate or master's level programs can apply online.
- Please note that PhD and M.Phil. students are not eligible for Diya Scholarships unless they apply for direct M.Phil. programs right after graduation. Scholarships are also available for students continuing directly from M.A. or M.Sc. programs.
- Talented and deserving students at the school or intermediate level can apply through their respective government institutions. The institution will coordinate with our office for further procedures.
- Important Note: Students receiving grants over Rs. 25,000 annually from other organizations are ineligible for the Diya Scholarship.
- A minimum of 60% marks is required for eligibility across all levels.
- First-time applicants must complete the Online Scholarship Application and upload the required documents (listed below).
- The review process may take 30 to 45 days. Applicants can check their application status weekly on the website.
- Scanned copies of the student's and parents' NIC cards
- NADRA Family Registration Certificate
- Intermediate Certificate (for Intermediate students)
- Bachelor’s Degree (for Master's level applicants)
- Hifz Certificate (if applicable, 5% extra marks will be awarded)
- Medical Certificate (if any)
- Results certificates for all completed semesters/annual exams
- Fee receipts or bank challans for the current academic year
